Continoma

They are the primary government and control the city Sal Vitas. While an autocratic oligarchy once ruled with an oppressive fist the new government launched a coup and removed the oppressive regime (thanks partly to the support from Noir). However, Noir has yet to step down from its position and still seeks to oppose the Continoma Government. Since players will start in Sal Vitas, they will be the easiest faction to join.
 

Noir

Despite its shortcomings and rushed ideals, enforced by an iron hand upon its young society, Continoma was the first to achieve the Utopian dream. The shadow of the nanite virus, which took away humanity’s natural ability to reproduce, lingered but citizens found ways to stand proud and build upon what was left. Every human became an important part of society and the cloning process was glorified and respected as a symbol of prosperity, associated with Continoma itself. But like most dreams, not everyone shared this vision.

With the enforcement of the watcher chip and the failed regulations of the cloning process tied to the deteriorating Contribution system, tension and conflicts began to emerge among many Organizations. Some, such as the Alpha Sisterhood were unwilling to allow the mistakes of the past to be repeated, as they blindly backed Continoma in its policy to shoehorn society for the good of mankind. Radical separatists gave a voice to the belief of freedom of choice and an economy made of personal opportunity, rather than a beehive commanded by a mother bee refusing to relinquish control. Among them, a small number of organizations took a neutral stance and tread the dangerous ground between political turmoil and its lucrative opportunities.

Continoma stood adamant despite the growing resistance. As the opposing organizations failed to achieve their goals through political pressure, leaders began to disappear, presumably locked in indefinite cloning delays after suspicious accidents. The opposition was forced to relocate for survival and growth, or face extinction. The rebel headquarters were moved to the mountainous region of Enterra, protecting the remaining leaders from Continoma’s determined grasp. It was then that Continoma, believing the opposition would eventually disband, made its first mistake.
Once an opposition party in Sal Vitas, Noir turned to armed resistance when their demands were not met. They recently acquired cloning technology for helping Synthia Harvington (the new leader of Continoma) launch her coup against the oppressive regime. Noir is still not willing to rejoin with Continoma and the alliance they forged is shattering. According to the recent weekly answers on faction, Noir will be hard to get to for first time players.
